The French company “Total Energies” announced today the expansion of its strategic alliance with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the inspection of new areas, including the supply of diesel fuel to France from the UAE.
The deal coincides with a visit to Paris by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan this week, as France looks to diversify its energy sources after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
France and the United Arab Emirates have already agreed on Monday to establish a partnership to identify joint investment projects in the two countries or elsewhere in the fields of hydrogen, renewable energy and nuclear power.
