TOTALENERGIES: CEO COMPENSATION HAS JUMPED BY 52% IN 2021

PARIS (Archyde.com) – The compensation and benefits awarded to TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanné for 2021 amount to 5.9 million euros, up 52% ​​compared to 2020, the group said in its annual report. published on Friday.

The oil group, which is developing at a sustained pace in renewable energies and electricity, recalls that the payment to the CEO of the annual variable part of his compensation awarded for 2021 is subject to the green light from its shareholders during its general meeting, which will be held on May 25.

TotalEnergies recorded net income group share of 16.0 billion euros for 2021, driven by the sharp increase in the price of hydrocarbons.
