And we are very excited, very comfortable and we are really ready to go with them to make this trial happen. “We come out of our meeting with the Minister of Justice Keeper of the Seals with joy and enthusiasm since we are certain that the trial of September 28 will indeed take place in the month indicated and you can be reassured because the Minister of Justice , Keeper of the Seals, and the president of the transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, will keep their commitments in any case according to the comments made by the Keeper of the Seals. We believe that this time the trial will take place. This is important for our country since the fight against impunity was one of the CNRD’s commitments when it took power on September 5th. I think that this will be able to materialize with the effective start of this trial. We have made all our requests and the Minister has reassured us that all the accused will appear, all the practical arrangements will be made for this trial to be held in a practical way. We intend to accompany him in the accomplishment of his mission concerning this long-awaited trial. So we trust the government and the Minister of Justice. He has the ability to organize this trial since we saw him when he was Attorney General at the Conakry Court of Appeal. All the commitments he had made during his time at the general prosecutor’s office, he respected them. So today, we are optimistic and we are obviously preparing, because it is a historic trial that will restore the image of justice in our country, ”said the lawyer.
