Toyota is now supporting the association Special Olympics Germany (SOD) and is thus further expanding its commitment to people with mental and multiple disabilities on a national level. The automobile manufacturer is thus also a new partner of “Team Germany Special Olympics”, which accompanies athletes on their way to the World Games 2023 in Berlin. Around 7,000 athletes from 190 nations are expected there to compete in 26 disciplines. In addition, the 2024 National Winter Games in Thuringia are already on the calendar.
Toyota has been a global partner of Special Olympics International (SOI) since 2017 and most recently took part in the summer of 2022 as a premium partner and official mobility partner at the National Games in Berlin. (awm)
