Toyota is working on the smallest and therefore cheapest version of the Land Cruiser SUV. This information has already been confirmed by company representatives and even a preliminary date for the appearance of the new product on sale has been indicated – 2025.
Independent designers from the CarsCoops portal thought about what such a car might look like, publishing fresh renderings of this promising Japanese new product.
According to unofficial information, the car will be called Land Hopper, but it is possible that eventually one of the other names will be chosen for the car, including FJ Cruiser, FC Cruiser or Compact Cruiser. But regardless of what the SUV is called, the car will be a compact version of the Land Cruiser and, perhaps, the main competitor to the Ford Bronco Sport.
In computer renderings revealed online, the car appeared in a brutal appearance with a square body, durable bumpers, protective cladding in the form of unpainted plastic, and an externally mounted spare wheel bolted to the rear door.
They plan to sell the new product with both internal combustion engines and hybrid power units, and later the SUV may also receive a fully electric version.
The length of the new Toyota off-road model should be 4.5 meters, the width – about 1.8 meters, and the height – 1.9 meters, which is close to the dimensions of the popular Corolla Cross crossover, but much smaller than even the Land Cruiser 250 (pictured above).
As for the price range, experts are sure that they will ask for a car from about 30 thousand dollars or about 2.8 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
