The trial of Chief Warrant Officer Moriba Camara, alleged perpetrator of the murder of Thierno Mamadou Diallo opened on Monday, January 30, 2023, before the Dixinn Court of First Instance.
Thierno Mamadou Diallo was shot dead in Hamdallaye 2, during the spontaneous demonstration on June 1, 2022, following the rise in fuel prices. Student of the 10th year, he was regarding to pass the BEPC.
Following the family’s complaint, 5 law enforcement officers were arrested and charged, 4 of whom received a dismissal order. And only Chief Warrant Officer Moriba Camara was referred to the criminal court of Dixinn.
