The major accident on the Nationale 97 in Philippeville is still ongoing at the intersection with the Nationale 5. The Nationale 97 is closed in both directions of traffic.

On the Brussels inner ring road, you slow down for 15 minutes between Expo and Machelen in the direction of Zaventem.
On the outer ring, you slow down for 10 minutes between Beersel and Huizingen where the ring is also closed towards Haut-Ittre.

If you come from La Louvière, definitely don’t go that way but take the E19 towards Mons and exit at Roeulx to take the Nationale 55 towards Soignies. Situation which can be explained by the blocking of a Colruyt depot on this Nationale 57.

The asphalt work ended around midnight at the Daussoulx interchange and the bridge over the E411.
The E42 is therefore reopened in both directions of traffic both towards Liège (this was already the case yesterday evening) and towards Mons!
