Kihei/Honolulu – Terrible tragedy in vacation paradise: A tourist was attacked and killed by a tiger shark off the island of Maui in the US state of Hawaii.

At the time, 60-year-old Kristine Allen, who was from Washington state, was with her husband on a snorkeling trip off the island of Maui.
