She also returns to the moment when she learned of the death of her son: “It was the Commissioner of Cambrai who came to tell me at the end of the morning”. “It was brutal, we did not expect that”.
Furthermore, Marie reveals that her son’s partner was pregnant. “It’s unfair, he didn’t deserve that. He was a beautiful boy. He couldn’t stand injustice, he was always ready to help,” the mother says indignantly. “It’s madness, I feel like I’m in a dream,” protests Marie.
The Lille prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for homicides and involuntary injuries. Findings were carried out and testimonies were collected in this context.
