Information issued by the Coordination of Investigations of Crimes Against People of the Valencia Municipal Delegation of the Cicpc reports two fatalities and three injuries, one of them a child, after the explosion of a kind of fragmentary grenade in the Francisco de Miranda neighborhood , south of the capital of Carabobo.

The police report identifies the deceased as Lisandro Javier Herrera Herrera, 31 years old, with a police record for robbery, resistance to authority, drugs and personal injury; and Javier Francisco Verenzuela Méndez, 29 years old.

The injured, for their part, respond to the names of Reimon Rubén Rodríguez, 32, who sustained multiple shrapnel injuries to his body caused by the explosive device. His condition is delicate. Wilker Eduardo Salcedo Herrera, 18 years old, with a shrapnel wound to his left foot. Currently stable.

Finally, there is little Erixson Josué Ramírez, nine years old, who received a shrapnel wound to the lower left extremity. Fortunately, he is stable.

The incident occurred in the morning

The event was recorded exactly in sector 3, alley 105, of the aforementioned neighborhood, located in the Miguel Peña parish, in the early hours of the morning. For investigation purposes, a red Ford Festiva vehicle was retained, which had multiple shrapnel impacts.
