Mourning, pain and desolation are among the relatives and relatives of María Juliana Murzi Pabón, a medical student at the University of Santander, UDES, who died in a tragic accident in the early hours of this Monday in Carrera 27, on Avenida González Valencia, in Bucaramanga.

The young woman was traveling on her motorcycle to her place of work, the Comuneros clinic, when, apparently, another motorcyclist who had run a red light collided heavily with her and was left lifeless on the spot.

There are only tears and sadness on the face of María Camila Acevedo Jaimes, one of her best friends, who studied medicine with her throughout her career.

Of María Juliana, she highlights that she was a woman with a strong character and that she will always miss the scolding that she gave her as a friend.

Her group of friends from the university will pay tribute to her on August 15, it will be a mass at 6:30 pm at the Cristo Misionero church, in Lagos del Cacique.

“I will remember the beautiful things that whenever one said to her, all the scolding she gave me, the advice, the beating, the impulse she had to get ahead, she was a dreamer, an entrepreneur, beautiful, we were a group of five friends and We’re all in shock.”

Medical student killed in accident

María Juliana was 24 years old, was a native of Arauca and her family lived there. She went to Bucaramanga to study Medicine and one of her greatest desires was to become a pediatrician. She was only three months away from graduating as a doctor.

“He had clear goals, he wanted to be a pediatrician, it was his biggest dream. He wanted to do his rural and apply to the pediatrics specialization.”

Since 2017 he has lived in Floridablanca with a dog, a cousin and another partner. To get to work faster, she bought a motorcycle and since March she has been riding it.

They are investigating the causes of the accident
