A 52-year-old cyclist was hit by a car just 2 kilometers from his home in Audembourg, West Flanders. The shock was extremely violent and left him no chance of survival.
The motorist probably felt unwell at the wheel of his vehicle, indicates Het Laatste Nieuws. It deviated from its trajectory before hitting the cyclist.
An ambulance and a SMUR were sent to the scene to provide first aid to the victim. He was taken to hospital but rescuers couldn’t do anything to save him.
