Mother and two children fall to their deaths while hiking near Montreux
A Dutch woman and her two adult children fell to their deaths while hiking in Switzerland.
The 57-year-old and her daughter (25) and son (22) were reported missing on Thursday. They had been in the area of the Rochers-de-Naye mountain above Montreux. After a major search operation, the police found their bodies on Friday around 300 meters below a steep hiking trail, as they announced on Saturday. The cause of the accident is still being investigated. The son lived in the Lausanne region, his sister and mother in the Netherlands.
