Sarah Ferguson is in shock. Jenean Chapman, known for having been the assistant to the Duchess of York between 2000 and 2005, was found dead at the age of 46 in her apartment in Dallas, Texas.
A 48-year-old man, Patrick James, has been arrested and police say he should be charged with murder, our Sky News colleagues explain. Her family told NBC News that Ms. Chapman had only been married to Patrick for a few months, and that they had a tumultuous relationship for years.
This murder aroused strong emotion on Sarah Ferguson’s side.
