Kottayam: A housewife who was traveling with her husband on a scooter fell under a container lorry and died. Bino’s wife Priya Binoi (48) died in the Kottayam Neerikad Kallampalli Kollam pit. The accident occurred at Kottayam Nagampadam bridge around 6 pm.
Priya was seriously injured and rushed to Kottayam Medical College, but her life could not be saved. It is believed that when Priya suddenly braked, the container got stuck between the tires of the lorry.

As today is Binoy’s birthday, the accident occurred when both of them were coming to Kottayam town to buy a gift.
