London ∙ A Malayali youth living with a Malayali in London was stabbed to death. Arvind Sasikumar (37), a native of Kochi Panambilly Nagar, died. The 20-year-old suspect was arrested. It is indicated that an argument between them resulted in a knife.
The incident took place in Peckham, South East London yesterday at one o’clock in the morning. They both lived with two other Malayali friends in a small flat above a shop on Southampton Way near the Coleman Way junction in Peckham.
Police said Arvind, who was seriously injured, died on the spot. The police have also detained two other youths who live with him. Arvind has been in Britain for 10 years. He was single and lived here with Malayali youths who had come on student visas.
