Transavia France presented the company’s summer program from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport. Flights to 13 countries, with around thirty destinations, of which three new ones are planned. Lyon residents will be able to take the plane to go to Yerevan in Armenia, Tirana in Albania, or even Fez, in Morocco.

If flying to these destinations should be possible from summer 2024, it will already be possible to book tickets from December 19.

In parallel with the development of these new flight routes, Transavia also announces an increase in its flight frequencies to the Maghreb, more precisely with Algeria (five destinations) and Morocco (four destinations).

In 2023, nearly 5 million passengers transported by Transavia have traveled from Lyon since the company arrived at the airport in 2010.

“Transavia is today the second low-cost airline at our airport, with 30 destinations served next summer, further strengthening the region’s connectivity,” argued Pierre Grosmaire, sales and marketing director of Lyon Airports.
