The Honduran Luis Palma has a better chance of leaving Aris Thessaloniki than continuing to play in the Greek Super League just a year and a half after his arrival.

The 23-year-old midfielder, author of 13 goals and 8 assists in the previous campaign where he was a figure for his club, is an asset that many European clubs have sought and the latest to appear is Watford of England.

Watford currently belongs to the Championship, which is the second division of the British country. In this category he has been active since 2022 after his relegation from the Premier League, where he was for a period of six years starting in 2015 until his last relegation.

This information was brought to light by the prestigious Daily Mail of England, which headlined: “Watford are in talks to sign winger Luis Palma on loan… the Honduran international has attracted scouts from Manchester United.”.

As published by the British newspaper on Tuesday, Watford is ready to pay an initial amount of 850 thousand pounds ($1,099,130) for its loan, and next year they will pay 4.5 million pounds ($5,818,927) to sign it permanently, being a operation of almost seven million dollars.

The Daily Mail highlights that Luis Palma caught the attention of some Manchester United scouts during a match at Aris Thessaloniki.

It has already been confirmed that Aris is in negotiations to transfer the Honduran Palma to one of the teams with the best squad in the Championship, valued at 88.6 million pounds (5th highest), being one of the top candidates for promotion to the Premier League.

Previously, the businessman Luis Cruz, president of Vida, a club that holds a percentage of Luis Palma’s token, confirmed to DIEZ that the right-handed attacker would leave the club during this transfer period.

“There are real offers, I think the economic issue is in the background, but we know that everything is ready for Luis to leave, it’s just a matter of seeing what is the best proposal and what is best for the footballer”, said the director of the coconut palms.

On the other hand, Aris Thessaloniki rejected the claims of clubs such as Rangers from Scotland or Anderlecht from Belgium by not submitting an offer that would exceed five million euros that they expect to receive for the Honduran.
