Nonetheless, Ukrainian developers believe that the excavator converted into a demining vehicle can remove any mines from the road. Volodymyr Ozoryan, a military demining expert, said: “We tested this (demining vehicle) device on anti-personnel mines, which produce a lot of power and shrapnel. Although the driver can control the demining vehicle remotely, the developers still want to ensure that the cab can still be safe in the event of an explosion under the excavator’s tracks. If one day the excavator is no longer required to perform demining tasks, then it can be returned to the purpose for which it was originally designed.
