Chandigarh: Two people died when a truck carrying 20 buffaloes overturned. Three people were seriously injured. The accident took place in Ibrahim Baz village of Haryana. The deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Naseer and 32-year-old Imran. On the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the truck lost control and plunged down from the flyover following a tire burst. It is also reported that the truck was speeding. There were five people in the truck. All four buffaloes died in the accident. Some were fatally injured.
The police arrived and took the injured to the hospital, but two of them had already died. The bodies were handed over to the relatives following post-mortem. It is not clear whether the injured survived.
