A young delivery man died in the last few hours after the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a truck on National Route 38 near the town of Casa Grande, in the Punilla Valley. For reasons that are being investigated and that are not clear, for now, the truck driver continued on without giving help or alerting anyone.
Several witnesses to the sinister road took note of the vehicle and its license plate and alerted the Police.
When the security force was alerted to the fatal accident that had just occurred, several patrols began an operation to search for the vehicle, while the Highway Police were alerted to everything.
Finally, a while later, on the same route 38 at the height of Cosquín, the Ford 7000 vehicle was located and stopped.
Its driver, a 56-year-old man, was arrested. According to him, when questioned by the police, the man would have recognized that he had run over the motorcyclist and would have even said that he got scared and left.
Anyway, that is not confirmed at the judicial level.
The driver was taken to the Cosquín judicial headquarters, where it was ordered that he be detained. In the next few hours, the judicial accusation will be known.
The fatal victim was a 20-year-old boy who lived in La Falda and who made a living as a delivery person.
