Truth Social flop rips a hole in Trump’s fortune

What takes a long time doesn’t necessarily get better. With a lot of fanfare, Trump announced in October 2021 that he wanted to launch a new social network. Truth Social was placed with the usual rhetoric as an antipode to “woken” platforms like Twitter or Facebook, where Trump was banned as a result of his involvement in the January 6, 2020 Capitol storm.
