TSV 1860 Munich: Investor Hasan Ismaik is now rumbling | Sports

The lions seem to have more chaos behind the scenes than previously known.

Investor Hasan Ismaik (45) had been silent since his visit to Munich on January 15 – now he’s rumbling on Facebook again.

Rumor about a return campaign Bundesliga club is digging on THIS Klopp star

There he actually writes that he was not aware of the dismissal of ex-coach Michael Köllner (53) in advance!

Ismaik in the wording – that has explosive power: “Unfortunately, Michael Köllner was denied great sporting success in the end, also because individuals put their personal interests above those of 1860.” It is unclear who he means by “individuals”. However, only people with decision-making authority are eligible.

Ismaik continues: “Unfortunately, I can no longer undo what happened. However, I apologize in all formality to Mr. Köllner, because he was denied the supposedly easy games against Oldenburg, Meppen, Verl and Halle. I found out about the Köllner dismissal via my Twitter timeline.”

Sounds like a huge communication problem on the investor side.

Because: Ismaik’s confidante Saki Stimoniaris is the chairman of the 1860 supervisory board, on which his brother Yahya Ismaik also sits. He also has his local governor in merchandising boss Anthony Power. Ismaik’s lawyer, Andrew Livingston and Stimoniaris are also part of the four-member advisory board, which also includes club representatives President Robert Reisinger and Nicolai Walch.

According to BILD information, the two managing directors Günther Gorenzel (sports) and Marc-Nicolai Pfeifer (finance) followed the formally correct path and informed the supervisory board (which also includes advisory board representatives) via email before the announcement of the Köllner release.

Ultimately, it becomes clear that Ismaik, who appreciates Köllner as a person, was against dismissal until the end, despite the ongoing series of bankruptcies (only one win in nine games).

Why his representatives did not inform him about the events remains a mystery.

Until yesterday, Köllner was under discussion as the new coach at SV Ried, but did not get the job. He drove up to the bottom of the Austrian table in his 1860 company car with the lion logo…

Leipzig, did you see that? THESE city gates are scary
