Al-Marsad newspaper – agencies: Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of the Spanish club Almeria, expressed his fear about his team facing Real Madrid in the first round of the Spanish Football League.
Al-Sheikh said: “Our problem is that our team is not yet ready for the start of the season. We suffer from many injuries,” according to the Spanish newspaper “AS”.
Regarding the transfer market, he stated: “3 players will be sold and we will contract with 5 super players, and there is a week left until facing Real Madrid in the League, but the transfer market remains until the beginning of September,” noting: “The salary limitation law represents a big problem and makes contracts difficult for us.” Our situation is good because we have done a successful job.. the sale of Darwin Nunez was a turning point in the club’s budget.”
Al-Sheikh expressed his fear of facing Real Madrid, saying: “I am afraid that we will be defeated by a big result. I ask the players to achieve a positive result. If we win, it will be thanks to God. We are talking about Real Madrid, the European champion.”
