You may soon be able to listen to podcasts while scrolling through tweets. Twitter would indeed be working on a new tab dedicated to podcasts within its application. In any case, this is what the screenshot shared by Jane Manchun Wong, a developer specializing in reverse engineering, well known for dissecting the codes of applications and websites to unearth the features under development suggests. .
If the screenshot she shared does not offer much detail, we can see that Twitter has added a tab called Podcasts featuring a microphone next to the other existing tabs.
If nothing is confirmed for the time being, the social network could potentially use this tab to record its Spaces, audio chat rooms, which are currently pinned at the top of the Twitter feed.

Since a few weeks, Twitter allows its users to save Spaces in order to access them after they have been broadcast for around thirty days. With the potential arrival of this new tab, Twitter could therefore decide to group all the Spaces that have been registered there to allow easier access.
But the social network could also have another project, that of becoming a platform for broadcasting podcasts in its own right, a solution that would allow Twitter to develop new sources of income.
