On Thursday evening, the Syrian air defenses repelled an Israeli missile attack that targeted the cities of Hama and Tartus, in the center of the west of the country.

The official Syrian news agency, SANA, quoted a Syrian military source as saying that “the air defenses responded this evening to an Israeli air aggression from the sea, southwest of Tartus.”

The source confirmed, “Most of the aggression’s missiles were dropped, which targeted the vicinity of the cities of Hama and Tartus,” adding that “the aggression resulted in the injury of two civilians, in addition to material losses.”

From time to time, the Israeli occupation launches war missions and bombs targets deep in Syrian territory, targeting Syrian army positions, Iranian targets, and others belonging to Hezbollah.
