A couple in their 60s were found dead while several bears escaped from a bear breeding farm located in the hills of Ulju-gun, Ulsan. Police are searching the hills in the area after testifying that some of the bears raised on the farm have not yet been captured.

Ulju-gun, Ulsan, in a disaster text message sent to local residents, said, “It is estimated that there is one more bear in Jung-ri, Beomseo-eup, and the police are patrolling.” .

An official from Ulju-gun Office said, “We found three bears near the farm and killed them, but there was testimony that there were more than three bears raised at this farm.” explained.

Previously, at around 9:37 last night, the fire department received a report from her daughter that she could not reach her parents in their 60s who run a bear breeding farm.

Ulsan Ulsan Fire Station found two bears near the breeding farm run by the missing couple and one bear inside the breeding farm, and killed them all within two hours of being dispatched.

The fire authorities, who were looking for the missing couple, found a couple in their 60s lying at the entrance of the farm in the process, but they were already dead.

The police and fire authorities found traces of the dead couple presumably being seriously injured by a bear attack, and are investigating the exact cause of death.
