Gloggnitz – Within a few hours, two earthquakes occurred on Whit Monday in the Gloggnitz area (Neunkirchen district). At 2:23 a.m., a magnitude of 3.0 was recorded, and the strength of an earthquake at 6:46 p.m. was given by the Austrian Seismological Service (GeoSphere Austria) as 3.2. In both cases, vibrations were clearly felt in the immediate vicinity. There could also be minor damage, it said.
