Two Israeli men were shot and injured in east Jerusalem on Tuesday morning. The Israeli police said there was a suspicion of a “terrorist attack”. The suspect was able to escape.
The incident happened at 7:10 a.m. (local time, 6:10 a.m. CEST) in the Sheikh Jarrah district. According to police, the shots were fired at a car. According to the Magen David Adom rescue service, the two occupants initially continued their journey following being attacked.
The 50-year-old and a 48-year-old were taken to the hospital. There is no danger to life for the two men, said the rescue service.

According to the army, a Palestinian woman injured an Israeli with a knife in the southern West Bank on Monday evening. Soldiers then shot the woman, she was injured. According to media reports, the 33-year-old came from a refugee camp near Bethlehem.
