Riyadh – Two new natural gas fields have been discovered in Saudi Arabia, Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman has announced. Saudi Aramco has discovered two fields of unconventional natural gas in the Eastern Province.
Unconventional natural gas field ‘Awtad’ was discovered southwest of Ghawar field. He said that ‘Al-Dahna’ unconventional natural gas field was also discovered 230 kilometers southwest of Dhahran city. Prince Abdulaziz stated that this will strengthen the country’s natural gas reserves.
