Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son will soon play for Al-Nassr’s youth team.

The 13-year-old has already done this for his father’s previous clubs.

It is also reported that the offspring is already successfully hunting for goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the first superstar to move to the Saudi Arabian league in January, and many stars followed suit in the summer. Another talent will soon be playing for Ronaldo’s club Al-Nassr. However, this transfer comes as no surprise as the 13-year-old is Ronaldo’s eldest son, Cristiano Jr.

As Saudi media reports, the 13-year-old will be integrated into the U-13 training. Like the father, the son will also wear the number 7. Cristiano Jr. already played in the youth ranks at his father’s previous clubs, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus Turin – and was almost as successful as his old man.

Does Ronaldo do like James?

Although the juniors are not kept as precisely as the professionals, it is reported that the junior scored a whopping 58 goals in 23 games at Juventus, for example. In comparison, his father has scored 25 goals in 30 games since he signed with Al-Nassr.

Apparently it is even possible that father and son will one day be on the pitch together. The five-time world footballer once reported: “My son told me: ‘Dad, wait a few more years, I want to play with you.'” Father Ronaldo is currently 38, his son is 13 – in order to be able to play together, CR7 would probably have to be at least keep playing for another three, if not four, years.

Basketball superstar LeBron James once said he would like to compete in the NBA with his sons. Father James is currently 38, his eldest son Bronny is now going to college at 19. Even in this scenario, patience will probably be needed for a few more years. Knowing the ambition and perseverance of both the American and the Portuguese, the option of playing together with their son doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
