Two successive illnesses on board a diverted easyJet flight to Brest – Brest

This is clearly the law of series for easyJet. On April 5, one of his planes heading for Faro had been diverted to Brest. This time, the plane, an A 321 with 185 passengers on board, which had taken off from Belfast, Ireland, had to change course as it passed the Nantes region towards Alicante, towards Brest: one of its passengers had just become ill which required medical treatment.

A second discomfort on the ground

The plane therefore diverted to Brest-Bretagne airport, in Guipavas, where it landed around 12:50 p.m. The victim and his companion were taken care of by an ambulance which took them to the Keraudren clinic. . But as the plane was about to leave, a second person felt unwell. In turn, she disembarked, with her three relatives, to be taken to the emergency room.

In the end, the plane was able to take off again at 2:40 p.m., to resume its flight to Spain.
