They remained silent in the box at the announcement of the judgment. A 16-year-old boy and girl were sentenced Thursday, April 7 to 10 years in prison by the children’s court of Pontoise (Val-d’Oise) for the murder of 14-year-old Alishaharassed, beaten and drowned in the Seine in 2021.
After four days of trial behind closed doors, the court reclassified the facts of “murder” as “murder of a 15-year-old minor”, considering “that there did not appear sufficiently characterized elements” proving the will “preparatory acts” in view of the girl’s death.
But the teenagers had “mindfulness” of the situation and “could not ignore the manifest condition of the victim” who has them “suppliés”, added the president.
