Tyson Fury bids farewell in style

If Tyson Fury did indeed fight for the last time in his career, as he claims, he mightn’t have hoped for a better script. He passed the K.-O. to Dillian Whyte at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The popular English boxer (32-0-1, 23 KOs) hit his rival (28-4-0, 19 KOs) with a powerful uppercut in the sixth round. Whyte fell backwards like a rock, before seeing the referee end the fight moments later.

The winner thus retained his World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight title.

Earlier in the gala, Fury’s younger brother Tommy won his light heavyweight bout once morest Poland’s Daniel Bocianski.
