U-20 Vietnam beat U-20 Saudi Arabia

(PLO)- Teacher and coach Hoang Anh Tuan excellently defeated U-20 Saudi Arabia 2-1 in a friendly match.

Within the framework of a training trip in the Middle East before going to Uzbekistan to attend the U-20 Asian Finals, U-20 Vietnam (VN) had a friendly match and won against host U-20 Saudi Arabia 2-1.

Both young teams are preparing for the Asian U-20 finals and also the U-20 World Cup qualifiers. Therefore, U-20 Saudi Arabia has a very strong force.

Some U-20 players in Vietnam joined the team late because of injury and were busy wearing the club shirt. However, although Khuat Van Khang gathered with the team later, coach Hoang Anh Tuan still threw Khang on the field to help him catch up with the team.

Khuat Van Khang was launched by coach Hoang Anh Tuan and it was Khang and Nguyen Quoc Viet who worked together to create two goals for U-20 VN.

Khuat Van Khang, 20 years old but has played for U-23 many times and played very maturely, Khang caught up with his teammates very well and proved to be an important “chain” of the team.

In the 10th minute, Quoc Viet had a free kick, a tight and dangerous free kick that caused the Saudi keeper to try to save the ball, the ball hit the post and Van Khang was present and promptly put the ball into the net.

In the second goal in the 25th minute, from the left wing attack, Khuat Van Khang again passed the ball to Quoc Viet, the striker who has won many times the top scorer of the youth awards with a goal to double the lead to bring U-20. VN leads 2-0.

Before the first half ended, specifically in the 41st minute, U-20 Saudi Arabia had a goal to shorten the score to 1-2. This is also the final score of the match.

After this match, the whole U-20 VN team will move from Saudi Arabia to the UAE to play a friendly match against Dubai FC on February 23.

Five young players from the clubs SL Nghe An, SHB Da Nang and B. Binh Duong… also joined the team when they arrived in the Middle East later because they were busy with the V-League football club.

According to the schedule in Group B of the AFC U-20 Championship, Vietnam meets Australia (March 1), Iran (March 4) and Qatar (March 7).
