On this occasion, Nadeem Umar congratulated both the teams and said that it is a matter of great joy for Karachi. The winners and runners-up of all the national tournaments of this season have been the teams of Karachi, including the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Champion, National ODI. Cup runner-up, National T20 champion, U-19 three-day runner-up, U-19 ODI champion, National U-16 tournament champion, National U-13 tournament runner-up.
He said that this shows that there is no dearth of talent in Karachi and the players of Karachi have proved it with their brilliant performance.
Nadeem Umar said that I hope the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, that he will not allow injustice to Karachi players as well as umpires, referees and scorers.
He also expressed the hope that under the leadership of Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan cricket will develop.
Congratulating all the zonal officials, he said that along with the players, the zonal officials have a very important role in the success of Karachi teams.
Nadeem Umar announced cash prizes to both the teams which will be given in a grand ceremony.
