The Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Coahuila (UAdeC) It has already placed all of its students in the entity’s hospitals for their internship, informed director José Ángel Padilla.
He explained that in the case of this institution, the 75 students are ready to carry out their medical internship; they will apply their knowledge in a practical way for a year.
“The Faculty of Medicine is part of the Inter-institutional Committee for the Training of Human Resources in Health, which is the collegiate body that is in charge of assigning places for each of the Medicine faculties. In our previous meeting we were already assigned the places for the next generation of undergraduate boarding school”he explained.
He explained that they have the coverage of the needs for their graduates in first level places, this to ensure the quality of learning at this stage, thanks to the Ministry of Health, the IMSS, the ISSSTE and the University Hospitals.
The students are placed in seven of these medical institutions, as he points out that this is a crucial stage, in which all their needs are covered.
He delved into the fact that the boarding school will begin in July and the social service for the following period will begin in August.
Said internship is one year on a rotating basis in which they go through basic services, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics and gynecology, as well as outpatient family medicine, in the case of the IMSS.
