Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Defense Forces destroyed a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis once morest the UAE. There were no casualties or damage as parts of the scattered missile landed in an unoccupied area. The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said air traffic had not been disrupted and the airport was operating normally. The attack took place at 12.20 am yesterday.
The bomber struck during a visit to Abu Dhabi by Israeli President Isaac Herzog. Within half an hour, the Arab League responded by destroying Houthi missile launchers in Yemen’s Al Jawf.
This is the third attack on Abu Dhabi in two weeks. An explosion near a fuel depot on the 17th of last month killed three people and injured six others.
