Promised at the beginning of the year, the app Uber Driver (the tool aimed at service drivers) finally arrived at CarPlay No brazil. The solution, which was being released in some countriesgives you quick access to the app’s essential features.
Now, by connecting the iPhone to a compatible vehicle’s system, drivers will be able to access Uber Driver’s features in a safer and more practical way, without the need to handle their cell phone during rides.

According to the company, the Uber Driver interface on CarPlay provides drivers with all the information the driver needs in real time — this includes notifications of new races, details about fares and even viewing the route.
One of the features that was also highlighted last February is the display of areas with dynamic pricing. Therefore, areas with high rates will be indicated in red on the map.
To use the function, drivers will simply need to update the Uber Driver app on iOS. Once connected to CarPlay, the app interface will automatically be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard. The update is now available on the App Store.
