Starting in Curitiba, Uber Resolve allows you to request tasks by the hour
Curitiba, March 13, 2023 – Starting today, Uber users in Curitiba will be able to use the newest modality available in Brazil and request an Uber Resolve. The new shipping product allows you to ask partners to perform extra shipping-related activities for a period of time, such as picking up parcels from a store or collecting a signature, for example.
In the new modality, it will be allowed to request the sending or withdrawal of items, by car or motorcycle, with a duration of one to four hours.
How does Uber Resolve work?
- After opening the Uber application, click on the “Shipping” tab
- Select “Shipping by period”
- Include the time you need, pick-up address and destination(s). It is also possible to modify and add stops during the trip.
After confirming the trip, the user must use the application’s chat to pass on the details to the partner driver about the activities that were requested. In addition, Uber also recommends that the user follow the entire request via cell phone in order to be able to assist the partner driver if he has questions during the trip.
Important points:
- Requests are limited in time and mileage. If the trip exceeds the contracted amount, the user will be charged for the excess.
- If the trip lasts less than the contracted amount, the user will be charged the total contracted amount.
- In this modality, requests for tasks involving payments and/or cash transactions, such as going to the bank, paying bills or collecting payments, will not be allowed.
