Ubisoft has been working hard to promote its NFTs, while its employees still suffer from inappropriate working conditions. Given the lack of solutions and action by the company, the workers decided to raise their voices and demand answers from the direct.

Ubisoft employees came together to form A Better Ubisoft, a group that seeks to improve working conditions to make the studio a good place to work. Yves Guillemot, executive manager of the study, has not fulfilled its promises, so by means of a letter they demanded to get down to work and do something regarding it.

The workers’ union stressed that many still have to hide details of their lives so as not to be judged by managers and other employees. A Better Ubisoft claims that the progress in labor matters has been very little and that the adjustments that have been made should have been implemented years ago.

“We are tired of having to repeatedly explain these seemingly obvious points to a management team that either accidentally ignores them or just doesn’t want to listen. We keep going because we care regarding our work. We care regarding the people we work with, the games we make, and we desperately want to fix this company.”

Finally, they stressed their goals to improve the company. These include failing to protect those guilty of harassment, increased collaboration from all employees and union representatives, as well as the industry working together to address these types of issues in the future.
