Belgium thrashed Poland in the first half, despite Robert Lewandowski’s goal. Belgium celebrated with six goals (6–1) after falling behind in UEFA Nations League football.

Lewandowski put Poland ahead in the 28th minute. Before the end of the first half, Axel Witsel equalized for Belgium. After the break, he was beaten. Leandro Trossard‌ scored a double. Kevin de Bruyne, Leander Dendonker and Lois Openda also found the target.

In another match, the Netherlands beat Wales 2–1. With the win, the Dutch team came out on top with six points from Group A. Belgium is second.
