The Ukrainian authorities have denounced this Monday the repression by the Russian Army of a peaceful demonstration carried out in the city of Kherson to protest the invasion of Ukraine, which would have left several injured. According to the deputy chairman of the Regional Council, Yury Sobolevsky, the Russian forces fired into the air and used stun and gas grenades to disperse peaceful demonstrators calling for the withdrawal of troops from Moscow.

“In Kherson Russian war criminals opened fire on unarmed people who were peacefully protesting against the invaders,” the Russian tweeted.
