Although the Ukrainian army’s long-awaited major counteroffensive has already begun, Ukrainian President Zelensky finally publicly confirmed it on the 10th. On the 11th, it was reported that in addition to the land and air offensive, Ukraine also launched a surprise attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet from the sea.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated on the 10th that the Priazovye reconnaissance ship of the fleet was attacked by six high-speed unmanned boats of the Ukrainian army in the Black Sea, but all of them were destroyed without causing any casualties to the Russian army. The ship’s mission is to protect two natural gas pipelines, the Turk Stream and the Blue Stream. The former transports gas from Russia to southern Europe via the Black Sea and Turkey, without Ukraine; the latter transports gas to Turkey.

The Russian side also said that when the Ukrainian army carried out the aforementioned attack, a remote-controlled U.S. military large-scale unmanned reconnaissance aircraft RQ-4 “Global Hawk” was also in the sky over the Black Sea.
