Belgorod and Kursk regions were shelled by Ukraine. This was announced by the governors of the regions in their Telegram channels. There were no casualties.
Head of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov informedthat in the village of Novopetrivka in the Valuysky urban district, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired four shells of cannon artillery. Windows were broken in two houses, on an area of 100 sq. dry grass caught fire. The fire was put out by a volunteer fire brigade.
11 shells landed from Ukraine in the village of Uspenovka, Korenevsky district, Kursk region, and two more in the village of Gordeevka. “In Gordeevka, the power supply line was damaged. The emergency teams will start to restore it when the opportunity arises,” clarified Governor Roman Starovoit.
During the day on September 6, 16 explosive devices were dropped from drones in the Belgorod region. 13 of them are in the village of Sereda.
The Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as other border regions of Russia, are regularly shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine; a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger operates there indefinitely.
