China is playing a double game in the Ukraine war. That is becoming increasingly clear. Now the warning from the USA: Beijing supports Vladimir Putin’s (70) “Wagner” mercenaries in Russia’s bloody campaign!
The Chinese satellite company Spacety provides the mercenaries with satellite images for remote sensing, clarified on Tuesday Daniel Kritenbrink, who is responsible for East Asia at the US State Department.
“These images were collected to enable ‘Wagner’ combat missions in Ukraine,” the USA made clear at the end of January and sanctioned the company.
China is positioning itself in Ukraine conflict although officially as “neutral”, even presented a supposed peace plan.
But fact is: The red giant is one of the last partners of the Kremlin. According to the US secret service CIA, ruler Xi Jinping (69) is even considering delivering “deadly support” to Russia.
Even if Spacety is officially a private company, one thing is certain: China’s economy is controlled by the state. “Against the background of the highly explosive geopolitical situation and the US sanctions, the suspicion arises that this did not happen without the knowledge of the Chinese government,” China expert Jürgen Matthes from the Cologne Institute for Economic Research told BILD.
Because: For the Chinese, a defeat by Russia would be a “nightmare,” explains the Russian China expert Alexander Gabuyev from the Carnegie Foundation. Reason: Putin and Xi are “unified in their fight against American dominance”.
