Pasha Lee was reportedly killed in northern Ukraine on Sunday. That reports the «Huff Post». According to the Odessa (Ukraine) International Film Festival and local reports, Lee was killed in the small town of Irpin. This has been massively attacked by Russian troops for days and is the target of bombing raids.
Sergii Tomilenko, President of the Ukrainian Union of Journalists, has since confirmed the 33-year-old’s death. A statement said Lee was killed in a Russian bombing raid on Irpin.
He posted on Instagram on Saturday
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Lee wrote: “In the last 48 hours there’s this one opportunity to sit down and take a picture of us being bombed and we smile because we’re going to make it and it’s all going to be Ukraine .» He continues: “We are working on it.” He claimed to have taken the picture in Irpin.
Pasha Lee starred in such films as “Meeting Of Classmates” and “The Fight Rules”. He is also said to have been the presenter of the broadcaster DOM and voice actor in “The Lion King” and “The Hobbit”.
Several civilians were also killed in Irpin, west of Kyiv, on Sunday. They died when Russian forces shelled an area used as an evacuation route. Among the dead are a mother and two children. (euc)
