Ukrainian Anatoliy Budyak took the 5th stage of the Tour of Rwanda on Friday February 25 in Kigali, now led by Eritrean Natnael Tesfatsion. Budyak, a 26-year-old Ukrainian who rides for Malaysian team Terengganu, picked up the first success of his career. Tesfatsion, winner of the 2020 Tour of Rwanda, took second place on the stage and donned the leader’s jersey worn by Spaniard Angel Madrazo. Saturday, the 6th and penultimate stage, 152 kilometers long, ends with the ascent of Mount Kigali (5.9 km at 6.7%).
