The man is Andrei Medvedev (26). After four months of fighting in Ukraine, he crossed the Russian border into northern Norway on January 13, 2013. Norwegian police detained him on suspicion of illegal entry, but he was released in late January. According to NRK, Norwegian authorities are reviewing his asylum application.
