The Ultimate Ears EPICBOOM has just been announced by Logitech. Apparently, the new Bluetooth speaker from Ultimate Ears is above the MEGABOOM 3 and BOOM 3, second only to the HYPERBOOM, when analyzing its size. However, this is not the only thing that differentiates it from the other models offered by the brand.

With IP67 certification, the Ultimate Ears EPICBOOM is a waterproof and dustproof Bluetooth speaker, but it goes beyond that. This model literally floats on water, allowing the user to use the wireless box in the pool, for example.
Another interesting feature is automatic equalization, which adjusts the sound according to the environment where the Bluetooth box is. This is possible thanks to the use of an internally coupled microphone, which performs measurements to determine the behavior of the sound, analyzing the reverberations.

In terms of battery, EPICBOOM is capable of playing music for up to 17 hours continuously, allowing the user to hold long-lasting parties without worrying about the battery. Another interesting point is its range of 55 meters when using the Bluetooth wireless connection. In addition, if the user wants, it is possible to pair it with the cell phone using NFC.
To control the use of pre-equalizations, the BOOM application, developed by Logitech, can be used. The user can also create a custom equalization (EQ), changing the bass, mids and treble according to his taste. There is also a choice of EQs for different types of activities such as yoga, meditation, parties, beach days and more.
Release and availability
The Ultimate Eats EPICBOOM Bluetooth Speaker will be released on September 6, 2023 for $349.99 in the US on official store website. It is not yet known the price of the product or when it will be launched by Logitech in Brazil.
